What are the symptoms of bacterial vaginosis?
I wen to the emergency room after suffering from severe stomach pain, flu-like symptoms and vaginal bleeding not due to my period. To my surprise, I was diagnosed with BV. I haven’t found much information that lists my symptoms in relation to having BV. Could this be more than just a bacterial infection? I’m scheduling an appointment with my OB/GYN tomorrow. Also, can BV cause any other female reproductive problems? Has anyone else experienced my symptons with BV? Thanks

Can bacterial vaginosis cause a missed period?
I have been diagnosed as having bacterial vaginosis. My period is almost two weeks late now. I KNOW that I’m NOT pregnant because I have been practicing abstinence for the past year. Can this infection be the cause of my missed period? I have never missed a period, other than the time I was pregnant with my daughter so this is not a usual thing for me. I am a little bit worried. Thanks in advance to anyone that answers.
