Bacterial Vaginosis Resources

I had no idea that urinary tract infection symptoms could be related to Bacterial Vaginosis! I recently went to a urologist who confirmed my suspicion. I wasn’t even aware that I had BV because I didn’t have the common symptoms such as weird discharge, itchy or foul-smelling vagina, but I was given Flagyl as a prescription. When should I see results, and should I be concerned about vaginal smell when having sex with my partner?

After my boyfriend cheated on me and contracted chlamydia from another girl, I immediately went to the doc to get tested. Although my chlamydia test was negative, I did test positive for bacterial vaginosis. I took the medication that was prescribed and am finished with it, but now I have a weird vaginal odor, similar to what I had when I was diagnosed, but it is accompanied by burning when I urinate. Is it possible for me to have this condition again, or should I get a second opinion?

For a while now,  I’ve had milky white discharge, have read up on it, and i think its bacterial vaginosis.  You never can tell until you see what it looks like because it seems that a lot of these types of infections have “white discharge”. I just need to know if there are any pictures available or any way to determine what it is and how to cure it. Please help!!

I have had yeast infections before and at first I though that this was one. But earlier today I realized it might be something else. There is a clear discharge but it doesn’t smell at all (but my yeast infections don’t smell either) so that’s kind of why I thought it was a yeast infection. But now the outer area and near my bum is sore and irritated. Could this be the bacterial vaginosis? and is there any thing I can buy over the counter to help? It is friday night and I will not be able to see a Dr. until monday and would like to at least releive some of the discomfort if possible.
